No one this morning, but I'm late. Thanks SGB for posting the video. Wish I could do stuff like that. LOL!

Just saw your video, MA. Pretty sure that was Trinity in the box. Hoping to see some action when I'm in Wilmington tomorrow.

Jane you are right. I did not see bands when looking at SGB's video. Hard to tell live, as the camera doesn't run smooth. Thanks for the correction. I even used the magnifying glass! LOL!

Spent some time in Wilmington this morning. Pretty sure it was Red Girl sitting on the left side of the ledge. Looked too big for Trinity, and according to what Greg posted earlier, she prefers sitting on the ledge rather than on top of the box. Also just looked at the cam, and Trinity was in the box!

No one in view this morning, but like Jane saw Red Girl could be outside there on the ledge. Thanks for your eyes on report Jane.

Nice catch SGB! No luck today so far.

Went past the City on 95 yesterday and could see the White Wash up there at the Nest Box. Always brings a smile to my face.

Gosh - I'm so far behind on checking in on Wilmington falcons. Thanks to all for your posts, pictures, and videos!

Red Girl was perched on the box ledge at 11:40 am, looking northeast across town toward the Brandywine, and looking big and beautiful herself.

Plucked pigeon feathers by an office building three blocks away.

Was on Bald Head Island last week. Bluefish were chopping up other fish offshore, causing conventions of terns, laughing gulls and pelicans feeding on scraps at the surface. A big brown juvenile peregrine, probably from Greenland, Labrador or northern Quebec, perched close to me on the beach, flew out to a bluefish riot to try for a gull or tern, and flew back to the beach to a farther perch where I left her.

At another bird convention over blues, a laughing gull came up with a big piece of fish and was accosted immediately by a parasitic jaeger, who chased the gull up the beach out of sight.

Dolphins, ospreys and my family redressed the score against the blues a little, but they were the dominant force by far.

Glad you were able to spot Red Girl this morning, Greg. And an interesting report about seeing a juvie on the beach. Several years ago on a Mediterranean cruise, a juvie Peregrine hitched a ride on our ship somewhere between Corfu, Greece and Venice. Obviously some songbird had also hitched a ride, as I found a pile of yellow feathers on the upper deck of the ship.

Interesting story Greg. Glad you saw Red Girl! It appears that the Cam is OFF now. Well at least this morning it is.

Cam isn't off for me, but sometimes it doesn't always pop up right away. No falcons in view at the moment.

Jane , the Cam picture is there, but it is not running. So we won't see any "new" action. The numbers at the top are stationary.

Edit: It is dark outside, but the same daytime picture is there, stationary.

I didn't notice that before, Faith. Guess maybe the cam is done for the year. :-(

Yes, it does look as if the cam is done for the year. But January is not that far away, and last year the cam came back on in early January. Until then, I hope that Red Girl and Trinity stay safe and sound.

Thanks Greg for your report. Coming through town yesterday, I saw one of the Falcon's sitting on the Building next to 95. I wasn't driving, so got a good look!
