Great job with the snips & videos evy1. Sure does help me to keep "up to date" with the Sturt cam operating so sporadic lately. Hope they got the "bugs" out now. ~~ Little guy has sure "growed up" so quickly while the cam was down. We will certainly assume the second egg has no possibility of a hatch now. :(
:stirwitch: :bat:
Sure is strange. With our 5 Alberta (Canada) nests that I followed this past summer, we had 21 eggs, 20 of which successfully hatched & fledged. Very, very successful season for us. Poor Beau & Swift just are not having the same luck. Is it diet ?? Food shortage ?? Something is just not working for them this last few years.

I think the general consensus is that its Swift's age. :girlsad3:

I swear--does this baby ever have a normal-size crop? :hahah Well, maybe at night when Swift can't see the size start to diminish & immediately start feeding him. :flirty:

There are a couple of updates on the webpage with cute pictures of the family.

That little chick is so precious. Thanks for all the wonderful pictures. I have tried quite a few times to get the cam but had to give it up.

Good to see you, ljames! I was wondering where you were since you're usually around when we have cute little chicks. :pumpkincat: I'm actually getting into the cam faster since the storm than before. You have to click on the hand & that threw me to begin with.

Thank you Catwoman ~~~~ never even thought about Swifts age and yes I can definitely agree with that being a contributing factor. Too bad but that is nature.

Snuggle time! :flirty: Wish I could have gotten a capture showing more of baby, but you can tell from what you can see of him that they're snuggling! :loveshow:
