Welcome to Osprey cam brought to you by the Department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, University of Florida.
The nest that you see is located on the top of the right field pole at Alfred A. McKethan Baseball Stadium, University of Florida. This nesting pair of ospreys have been coming to this stadium for a number of years. See the history of how the camera was placed on this pole.

Those two are beautiful and beautifully marked! I have a nest, near me, that should be occupied in a month or two and one up north from me that broadcasts video but no sound. The one near me will not have a cam so I will actually have to go there to see and watch if I want to watch that one.

I mainly watch the Dunrovin cam and the Hellgate cams, both in Montana. I am in Iowa, btw.

:loveheart2: my Ospreys!

Nice Chimega (!)

I watch several and have visited nests in Idaho, Minn., ...

I try and watch as many as I can till the Falcons start and then
time constrictions and work gets in the way :(

I have a nest about 3 miles from my house in a corn field...
Couldn't believe it but I know the chirp was a "O" ...
Must have enough water areas around the nest to nest
the past 4 years...

What on earth is making that sound on the Florida university cam??? That does not sound like an Osprey. Possibly an Owl???

I have a little bit on recording. And I stepped away and the cam stopped. I think I have some sounds of it, now, but not as loud and as many sounds as it makes. The Ospreys are not bothered by it, whatever it is. I'll upload it now.

Nice talking to you, too. If you want to wait a couple of minutes, you can hear the sounds as I am now uploading - or tomorrow. :6snowflake:

Ohh noooo! I am so ashamed! :gaaaaah: LOL!!! My youtube rolled over onto a live Albatross cam and it was the Albatross parents, talking, that I was hearing. ROTLFOL! I knew this bird sounded familiar but I couldn't figure out from where. :hapdance:
