A post on Twitter made me look into the Atlanta GA Peregrine Falcons and what had become of the nest we watched years ago.
And came across this article:
Anyone care to "pester" them for more info and ask if a webcam is an option??? :teehee:

Oshkosh: Banded female stayed on the ledge all night. At sunrise banded male came to check, they "talked" and he left, nice drop off the ledge. She preened, moved to the stick and flew off too. Seemed okay, no obvious injuries to face/head or feet.

Mill Creek is live. Banded falcon visited. Black M over red 73 (I think).

Edit: Correction, the band reads M over 78

Can't find a topic for this Xcel nest so . . .
Alan S. King plant: Webcam is live on YouTube and on February 14
this was recorded: https://youtu.be/5ZrHF2nDF1g

Quote:
Peregrine Falcon Joe'l [H/21 black/blue] checks out the nest box at the Allen S. King plant on a rainy Valentine's Day. Joe'l is a 2021 hatch from Great River Energy in Elk River, MN - about 44 miles NW as the falcon flies! Joe'l's father Breezy came from the King Plant (he hatched in 2015), so it feels like she's checking out the old homestead! Her record illustrates the importance of banding and reading and reporting band numbers: https://midwestperegrine.umn.edu/?vw=se ... ls&id=9768
