:1val: Bonking match between DH9 and DH10 after feed at 2:16 that was harmless. DH10 is not even 12 hours old yet! They said this am there is a pip in 3rd egg, but I haven't caught it yet when in today.

:sorrow: DH9! Very sad news at Dale Hollow this morning as DH9 went over the side of the nest this morning while still dark.

:15heartbeat: A few minutes ago, Obey at Dale Hollow brought in a humongous stick and placed on the rails. Sometimes you wonder how much they realize.

:eggthumb: Finally able to get in at Dale Hollow from "Johnny's Birdhouse" site which is my preference to view from. Have been unable to view from either site for more than 2 weeks now. But, DH10 and DH11 are both on the nest right now and parent on far left branch with head blocked. I can not ID at this view. Possibly River. Chat is saying it is DH10 with the whitish top of head, otherwise both of the kids are really grayed now and on the nest. The nest cam is not working and will not be able to be replaced till after the season. However, the swing out view that the water and left branches and nest are seen from is in a fixed view now. So, distant and doable!! They all look good!! Hahaha, the kids got in a tussle as I was leaving and it was River and Momma moved closer down the branch toward them. They are angels again. Apparently, Johnny does zoom in on them when there is a feed as someone asked if if he would when River begins the feed. Obey brought in a fish earlier that has not been eaten as yet.

ETSU Johnson City Per Facebook:
Noshi, the resident male reported missing since late April. Shima has been feeding the eaglets and now a new male has been seen. Shima seems to have accepted the new male.

Below is a map provided by Michelle France, the ETSU Eagles FB page administrator to show the area they have been searching.

Also a link to a news report.

"Here is an overhead view of the area that we have been searching. The white dot in the middle is the nest location and the black circle with the white dots is the 2 mile circumference around the nest tree. I hope this will help anyone out looking and thanks so much for your efforts. (Johnson City,TN nest area map) #findNoshi"

:girlsad3: Have not been able to find out the circumstances, but the Dale Hollow eagle cam will not return for the remainder of this season. Due back July/August per info at Johnny's Birdhouse site. The eaglets are 9 weeks old now.

:girlsad3: Found out this morning the reason Dale Hollow's cam is down is d/t a lightning strike. See above post.
