I just read that Dayton laid the first egg on March 10th so shouldn't be long now.

What time frame of the day is your pic, SGB? I won't even check this cam unless I can see in it, like that pic you posted.

:egg8: Just peeking in on this family- I love how the Falcons are so fierce, and yet they are so tender with their chicks. Dad came in and carefully folded his wings around his babies..... :15heartbeat:

RAPTOR Cam

Where are the Cincy 4th and Vine Peregrines?

Thank you so much for tuning in to see the Cincy Peregrine falcons! In 2016, the Cincinnati peregrines which nest on the 4th and Vine Building did not appear for the nesting season. The live falcon cam was removed with the intent to be reinstalled for the 2017 season to see if the falcons return to continue their nesting activities. Hope to see them and YOU in 2017!

The peregrine falcons may not be nesting on the 4th and Vine building in downtown Cincinnati this year, but they have been sighted and are alive and well! We would have loved to watch their nesting and care of the young in 2016, but it’s good to know they are flying free! Check out our blog for details at http://raptorinc.org/news-events/raptor-blog/.

Finally caught a feed here. Almost didn't see the 3rd one for the 2 bigger ones blocking him. He didn't appear to get as much as they did, but finally one of the big chicks nodded off and baby got some. Plus I think he might have been taking prey from their mouths.

If they would zoom the cam just a little we could see their sweet faces.

You are correct, SGB! There are 4. (I had to watch for movement to be sure but a couple of them twitched so I could see there were 2 more.) :egg19:
