... News About Owl Deterrents: "In an ongoing effort to provide an additional deterrent to owl predation on the nest, we are setting out a human manikin and putting a spotlight on it. This will be under the nest in a conspicuous place, and it will be moved daily from time to time, and appearance changed, to reduce risk of habituation. We will have it there until the chick fledges (or is predated)." -Steve Kress
