So far, I haven't really found a decent pic of the second number..other than what I posted above..

If you watch the recorder... after the fight...the male comes in gets on the egg, and shortly a female floats in up to the perch and into the box... she is the resident female..unbanded.

Who knew...DVR only goes back so far...but, resident female did come back at 7:17, which is really 8:17. Time stamp is wrong ( you can't get there now) and the male brought her a food gift!!

This is as far back as I could go...not sure how the female arrived. Female on the left

No tape...this was the only time I saw the legs and I never saw her front..

I did nto think fight looked too bad . I have seen much worse. they were locked talons most of time and resident female did get back up. We saw worse last season with males, remember and they both came back o.K. and went back to their sties. same at deMOrtel.

I think this may be O.K.

and a red band , out here in Alberta is captive bred. Could it be an Alberta bird. If you get band I will phone Gord.

Me too...as far as I know, this is at least her 3rd trip to the box since the fight...and she did take food from the male and flew off strong.

Maybe its finally catching up with her and she's exhausted..

I bet her chest hurts. The intruder was plucking her chest feathers. I'm hoping she is okay, just a little sore and no major injuries for both.

glad you caught that terka. I left video on so saw her come in . she looked O.K.

She is maybe resting and getting ready for next egg. we Know male had food for her . she looked O.K. coming in . but fights are stressful.

i guess we wait and see :7val:
