FC came to have a look at the egg and was rather persistent. She finally gave him access to it.

He's been fussing with it for a while now.

Thanks for the video, SGB--glad you were able to catch the laying of this season's first peregrine egg! I had the cam up, but missed it. Thanks to everybody who helped to document the beginning of peregrine nesting season! :7val:

Ya know, right before she went into labor, FC cam into the scrape and they did some bonding...I figured she was close to egg time when he left and she didn't...its been the reverse every time I have caught them together today!!

If she had left, I would have stopped watching and missed the entire thing...

FC was with the egg, Clara on the wall. I knew a canoodle was coming when he suddenly left the box and she began to get into position. Unfortunately, my pic not too good.

Maybe somebody got it on video.

Actually he was dismounting at this point, but the camera person kept zooming as it was going on, so couldn't decide when to snap it.

Canoodle on the louver. He did a pretty job considering her backside was toward the wall.

She is still there and not happy about something as she appears to be calling to him. Maybe she wants another canoodle.

FC just brought in pretty nice prey to the wall, which Clara was all excited about. She took it to the louver. My picture ended up blurry. Little egg still there.
