Thanks for those wonderful catches, FreddieB! That Ares is such an optimistic little tiercel- he never gives up! I think she might be a little more interested lately, though. I always laugh when he give his little falcon sigh when she doesn't come in the nest box, one last little "squeak"....

Thankyou, FreddieB, for a great set of video catches! Did Ares seem a little unusual to you on Wednesday? Usually he is out on the perch preening or watching for Astrid. And then he goes crazy any time she is around. This time he practically jumps into the nestbox but then stands still. We see a falcon fly in and land on the nestbox roof. And he is still "frozen". The female on the roof is chupping up a storm at Ares, but he gives no response. Finally he flies away. That all seemed very unusual.....? Just wondered what you (or anyone ) thinks....

Utica falcon Facebook says the cam site is down until Monday.

Utica's cam is back on. Cams 1,2, and3 seem to be working perfectly. Cam 3 with the audio shows a broken image- hopefully they can get it back 100 percent with just a couple of tweaks .
