Tappan Zee Bridge.
Timelapse from the archive, to see the progress of the construction of the new bridge. You can even see one of the falcons every now and then. :girlyes:

:holbugeye: OH MY GOSH, TERKA!!!!! Little T.Swift, fledged from Ft. Wayne, who tried to take over the Pleasant Prairie nestbox in Wisconsin, but got beat up pretty badly by the new female there! I was worried about her because she looked so beat up. Well it's nice to see that she is doing well! It would be cool if she managed to take over Grand Rapids nest... well - to the Canton, Ohio followers.

Grand Haven:

I missed a capture of them, but there are footprints in the snow. At least we know they are still around.

Couldn't find a sub topic for Central Terminal, Buffalo - feel free to move if I missed it.

Central Terminal - Buffalo:

MAK over at Rfalcon reporting that a possible territory takeover may be in progress there. Diamante was found injured and is in care now, no word on Gleig but reports suggest another pair may be attempting a takeover.

Details at Rfalcon.

Edit to add - Sage over at Peregrine Place has more details. Poor little guy, so glad he was found.

From Sage:

So sorry to have to share this. Gleig's beautiful mate Diamante' is the injured Peregrine who is being treated now at the Wildlife Division of the SPCA of Erie County.

He had surgery for the puncture wound to his neck. He also has a broken wing and other injuries. I will post updates as they are available.

His severe injuries lead us to think It was a fight for the nest site. I will go check the site tomorrow to see if Gleig is onsite or gone.

Some history: Gleig and Diamante' took over the site from Stash and Stella and Stella was found dead on the roof the next spring. This is life as a Peregrine Falcon.

I checked this site last Thursday and found Gleig on the perch and Diamante' on the ledge under the perch. It seemed they were having a conversation. Friday she was on her perch and Diamante' was near the top of the tower on a lookout point. I wonder iff he knew there was another Peregrine nearby.

Mariah and Kaver's son.. I hope that Gleig is OK. :sum7:

Sage saw Gleig today and here is a new update on Diamante she just posted:

DIAMANTE' I just received this from Diamante's vet at the SPCA-Wildlife Division, Karen Slote, DVM. She loves him too! And as she said, he is doing well, standing and eating when fed.

I tried to copy the photo but says it cant' determine the dimensions of it.

Here is the link to it, he looks good: https://www.facebook.com/PeregrinePlaceWNY/photos/a.186306341380306.50442.182371738440433/1496139870396940/?type=3&theater
