:10sum: Nice catch, Catwoman! Both Stewart and Squirt are preening away they’re down, aren’t they? I’m going to have to find another way to tell Squirt and Stewart apart when I can’t see their bands… Is it just my imagination, or does Stewart seem a little darker than Squirt?

:girlyes: Well, there were 2 chicks, Marshmallow and one of the boys in the nestbox, I think squirt was on an adventure… All of the sudden Stewart was gone too! And then Marshmallow walked to the edge did a little wingercising, and She stepped out of the nestbox. Now they are all totally out of sight!

Don't know...been trying for 30 minutes to read the band to figure out who this is...so, I don't know who's missing.

Something up top...missing chick?

Parent doing a fly by, trying to get them to fledge?

Next year suggestion: Color tape on federal band...then we'll know immediately who is left at the box.

Yes, SGB, you aren’t the first one to remark that the bands are hard to read…one remark was that the blue is very shiny, and almost creates a glare. Back when they still had a lot of down, I knew Stewart had less down. But then Squirt caught up with him. Lately it seemed Squirt was more likely to take longer jaunts away from the nestbox…so maybe this isStewart with Marshmallow (who has her bands on the wrong legs…?)

Well, I pulled the DVR back to midnight, and no one slept in the box last night. It’s been very warm, maybe it’s cooler out on the roof. I think you were right, SGB about the “MIA” . Yesterday late afternoon I only saw 2, and only2 were inthe nestbox after daybreak today. When I first a saw Marshmallow out on the walkway, I thought she was an adult until she turned and I saw her stripes…I think Squirt (bl/bl 04) is the one that may have fledged? I saw Marshmallow and a sibling this morning, and his band was bl/ bl 05 , Stewart. (90% certain)

I pulled the recorder back, and at about 6:20 pm a very exhausted little peregrine fledgling came wandering into the nestbox. I know it was one of the boys, but alas could not read the bands. He just stood there looking out, and then laid down at the front of the nest box. His eyes closed, his head lowered and he was fast asleep :loveheart: He didn’t stay long. He woke up, his eyes following someone having fun flying back and forth…Finally he couldn’t stand it any longer and hopped out of the nest box and out of view…

Yes, they go in and out very quickly. I checked on the recorder, and around 12:15 ish there was one up in the nest box, and then I caught a bit of “wingercising “ going on under the box.

I'm pretty sure I'm going blind after staring at this. Possibly a 5..and if so, its Stewart.

Few minutes ago. Something had them entertained for over 10 minutes...again...Marshmellow on the right.

Well, gee, - they’ve put up an old video of 3 fluffy chicks in a pile. I’d actually rather have a live cam with a chance of seeing a fledgling, or a parent….

:egg19: Well, things are looking up- we are back to a live cam. This time the camis pointing down to show an adult on the floor of the nest box area, seeming to be looking down and bobbing their head. Has one of the youngsters gotten themselves into a predicament?EDIT - The adult just jumped off the building…
