I used to be able to watch this cam for HOURS without it running down my satalite internet service. I am disappointed, to say the least...

"We have had a few winter moments, but overall, we are in far better shape than during the cold snap we had last January!

We are experimenting with a broadcast over YouTube, which will allow for greater compatibility across multiple devices such as iPads, iPhones, MAC and Windows. We are still learning the caveats of the YouTube live broadcasting, so our feed may still be up and down.

The feed is broadcasting for the time being… We’ll keep our fingers crossed, but expect it to be a better user experience than previous seasons."

:newyear17: an actual LIVE sighting of Zeus ! :ohyes: by a computer-less, smartphone-less, tablet-less, ipad-less bird watcher.

Zeus was seen atop his favorite corner of the County City Building last Friday afternoon January 23. I didn't have any spare time that day, to watch, I thought I saw a lady friend on another part of the building, closer inspection revealed ... a building pipe ! :gaaaaah: Sorry guys .
I may not be posting for a while because I am working 13 hour days right now for a couple of weeks.

:laugh2 :hahah :laugh I'm with you, a watcher!! I was barely chugging along with my stubborn desk top, when I needed to get an iPhone for substituting jobs, and hubby decided I HAD To have an iPad for Christmas. I'm half afraid to do much with them because every time I try, something goes very wrong..... The Verizon store guy and I are on first name basis.....
BUT- So glad to hear you saw Zeus! The little cutie is hanging in there, and hopefully he has a lady friend who wants to stay in South Bend! Nice to hear from you!! :hithere:

I stand Corrected!!! I just figured out what cam program is being done here, and It is GREAT! One can fast forward through the day or watch live.

Similar to Biosci, but this set-up is better so far, in that it doesn't play super fast in you-tube but in real time. If it does this every twenty four hours on recycle, it is Genious!!!

Yes..its a great feature of Youtube (and also livestream)...its like having a built in DVR...but, I think you (the cam source) have to activate it because I've seen some YouTube streams without the DVR feature..
