From Eagleholic: Good and bad news.
"At the IWS Channel Islands nests, unfortunately the equipment that powers the Catalina West End nest camera, just disappeared following the storms we had recently in CA. The theory is that it fell from the cliffs in this very remote location. So, this nest will not be online for the rest of the season. They are reporting that the eagle pair are incubating though, which is great news!

Also, IWS has been able to bring up the Bald Canyon nest on stream, so that will be fun to watch!"

Sauces. I finally got up enough nerve to go look...she's been standing for the past 15 minutes...and has just gone down to incubate....fingers crossed...

Never in my life have I heard of an eagle laying 7 eggs....bless their heart. Hope this works..

This one was just taken.
I have seen eagles step gingerly around their eggs, but this pair seems to have taken it to a new level of being careful.

Here is the Sauces record for the first clutch - 1st egg Jan 31 (Broken by Feb 1) – 2nd egg Feb 3 (Broke in about 2 hours) - 3rd egg Feb 6 (Broke in ½ hour) – 4th egg Feb 9 (Broke almost immediately) – 5th egg laid Feb 12th (Broke in about an hour)
Egg # 6 the 1st egg of the second clutch was laid shortly after 2 PM and revealed at 2:11 PM March 3. It was broken by morning.
NO NEW EGG MARCH 4, MARCH 5, MARCH 6, MARCH 7, or MARCH 8
NEW EGG #7 Laid about 12:08 MARCH 9
NEW EGG #8 Laid shortly after 11 AM
