he is on perch. so he is guarding. It looks well fed.

this is opposite of what I said

I had this all wrong as I did not watch video. whoever was on ledge is at entrance and the other one that flew in went into box and was at eggs. one at eggs left after scraping and one that was on entrance is on ledge . one at eggs was ther equite ahwile . one at edge bowed and chupped to one inside.

So I am thinking it is male that went in and female at edge and on rail right now. it has never left since I have been wacthing

But it froze in parts as I was using PB. not doing that ever again

The female has never left the box area since I have been watching when we saw 2 eggs.

in this video , she was on outside perch, an other falocn comes in at left at 16:42 and goes into box. stayed quite a bit by eggs, jsut over top of them and thenat 16:51 started sniffing around exterior and she was at entrance to box , the whole time watching and sometimes chupping. They did chup to each other. my cam froze when I tried to get pciutres for you, so I put recorder on pause and forgot to put back up right away.

but what you are missing in video is when he went out and went to left perch for a few seconds , left , came back for a second and left . she went out to perch and is still there

sorry about that , I will not to to Pb again in daytime. messes me up. this is why I do so many vidoes.

but, I'm not particularly worried about the female (of course, now I know its the female since she laid the egg) Prior to today, I had never caught 2 birds at the same time...This was the first cam I opened this morning, since I knew we were looking for an egg...also checked it numerous times yesterday morning before work. My timing certainly could have been off...and with only 1 egg, not that unusual not to see a parent...except for one thing...this is Minneapolis.

No parent in view early this morning (6:30 am nest time)...well below freezing. Same for yesterday morning. Maybe I had just missed mom coming off the egg...but, she never came back and no male came to replace her..That's what I was expecting since it was freezing.

Anyway..its probably nothing, but I would feel better seeing the male get on the eggs..

Can't worry about it now...I won't have much cam time the next 4 days...was just trying to get it figured out today..

Female is currently on the eggs....get me a picture of the male on the eggs..heck, get me a picture of the male in the box...and I'll be happy...LOL

did you not see the video SGB. male was in box by eggs for quite awhile

later this evening, he came in with food for female, she took off, he stayed don perch for quite awhile and then went in box with eggs. he snuggled on them quickly and then stood by them for awhile, he went back to ledge , stayed , went off, came back and then wen tin by eggs until female came back..

male to box at 16:42, femlae stayed outside . he stsyed over eggs till 16:52 and then left just before 16:56

watch times as I had to edit or it would have been really long



at beginning , male brings in food and female leaves 18:31

48 seconds into video male goes to box ( time16:35). he even turns eggs and shuggles on them
leaves box 1:40 into video (18:39)
about 2:18 in video he flies off ( 19:02)

comes back 2:19 into video(19:06)flies off again but comes right back

3:48 in vidoe he goes into box (19:10) he stays till femlae comes back. she comes in about 4:32 and stays outside for a bit (19:19) he leaves box at about 5:32 in video (19:22)

we never can outside. maybe an intruder around. If so, this plays havoc.

But everything seems good since I was on.
