She ended up knocking one out of the nest when she left quickly last year, too. It was only a couple of days old. :sorrow:

Shep, since this cam is on YouTube, you can rewind. I tried this morning and it was already gone (I think it only goes back 4 hours - not sure).
When you go to the cam (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_yDQoP ... e=youtu.be), put your cursor on the 'play' line and drag it to the left; you can see little pics of what is on cam as you rewind.
I'm sure someone can explain it better than me.

(YouTube cams are the only ones I know how to check - I have no clue how to check other 'archives.')

Glad you caught the eggs, SGB! I haven't been able to catch anyone off the eggs the past couple of days to see if anything is happening. Because of that annoying buzz, I can't leave this cam up on my computer & come running back when I hear the adults. :girlsad3:

Gosh...it just seems to be feast or famine at some nests this year!!! ..

It still breaks my heart that they lost their first chick...just not fair..

Such sad happenings here. I wonder if they will get the eggs out or just leave them to brood. Sure hope they get them soon.

if sherco is an eggsamle of RRP, they wont take the eggs.
last year she brooded those eggs forever -
now this year she is brooding all 6 - sad :egg10:

Several factors could lead to this type of outcome; they could have frozen during an early-spring cold period or they could be infertile. It is Great River Energy’s policy to not interfere with the natural occurrences in the peregrine falcon nesting box.

We have decided to turn off our birdcam until the 2017 season.
