 Ella is on cam now. Blood on her face and eye...seems wobbly. Edit- Tornado just came and she was trying to do a bonding session. He came very near her, paused, and flew away. Carolyn?

she keeps scratching her eye. yesterday had no troubles with landings. my cam froze so will get pciutres later male is on perch right now but Ella was there for a long time. |

Discovery .. eggs in Lansing! But on the roof of one of our downtown buildings. Female photographed is from Jackson nest, Fledged 2014. Photo to come.. 3 eggs. No nesting box :/ |

interesting. do you know who male is, as this male is very devoted to Ella. I do not record all of his visits but he is in and out constantly.

thank yo u DINA I have recorder on this site most days and tornado is a constant. the only other female I have seen here was the on e unbanded that I recorded and was only here the once. tornado sort o f looks after Ella , I think , and a nice bonding yesterday and mating |

A 2014 Jackson female has been identified in Lansing. She has laid three eggs on a rooftop. I'm waiting to find out which of the three females it is, Matilda, Viking or Titan. Update from Lansing, MI. The 2014 female mentioned is Titan (black/red, C/32) also from Jackson, MI. Lansing Michigan Peregrine Falcons added 2 new photos.   4 hrs · Ella is still up there giving us hope for eggs 2018!!! Mating continues with Tornado everyday, she’s battling that eye infection, AND there’s another female in town that has laid eggs near by. Here is a photo from a rooftop downtown, female guarding her 3 eggs, that is not Ella, this female is also from Jackson, from their 2014 nest. Ella’s sister! So we will wait patiently for Ella to lay eggs too. Thank you Rich for the photo! Taken 4/5/18. Peregrine are very territorial, could be the reason for Ella’s injury. |
