2:05pm chase brings gull wing. R eats more that she feeds. I will record this and take better look pictures later.

Is she a first time mom?

Looks like Chase came to give her a break. Thought there might be food, but Radisson did not come back with it. One of the chicks had it's little mouth open.

So Chase comes back and then cuddles with the chicks with his soaking wet body.

Radisson returns with wing/leftovers, but it's enough for the babies.

no Sally , RAdisson has been here since 2008. she is a great mom but with all this rain, chase is not bringing anything small and so she had to feed them something.but I think she was hungry also. second time she brought it back, both kids had a good feed and wing is behind her now.
Hope rains stops overnight.

Just after chase took over. Radisson came back in, with a bird and eat and feed the chicks.

I think radisson is frazzled as it has been so wet and windy, and the birds are not small ones coming in. and she wants that other egg to hatch

unusual for her to not have 4 hatch. so we watch. I think like green girl, she does not want these two to be too big when others hatch, if they hatch.

Feeding time at U of A Chase brought in a small bird and wanted to feed them . Radisson jumped out to come back in a take it from him. lol

Good grief, what strange behavior. Chase brings tiny prey. Radisson takes it and leaves the nest, then comes back with it to feed the chicks, who are waiting with mouths open, but Chase takes it and leaves. A few minutes later he comes back with it, but before Radisson can get it and feed the chicks, he leaves with it again.

I don't know, maybe he wants to feed them.

Radisson and Chase are an old married couple. They both do things that erk the other. But, we love them and know that they will always do what is best. Food is the funniest event at the nest with Chase.
