I am not saying it is or is not radisson till I have my pictures. with clear band sent to Tracy. I have someone else looking at their photos also.

Hope it it is. no worries. they do not mate away from home.

those pictures will be at radisson at her best as we only see her after she has come home form long migration and then with egg and then molting .

here is photo sI was lookin g for

Mystery solved. Turns out the two peregrine falcons who have been spending the winter months in downtown San Antonio are well known in their hometowns in Canada and Minnesota.
They even have names: Radisson and Triumph.
Article & pictures here:

Radisson, an 11-year-old female Peregrine Falcon, flies from the circular light tower atop the Drury Plaza Hotel, 105 South St. Mary's St., on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018. Radisson and a four-year-old male Peregrine named Triumph have taken up residence in downtown San Antonio this winter.

thank you Kf for this. I sent it to Gord. :15heartbeat:
hopefully Radisson heads home and does not choose to stay where it is warmer.

had a meeting with Gord today so we can ready for our nesting season.
will post more about meeting in a few days

Trish and mIke , and then Peter and I are watching from ground for falcons. so far they are not back, to our knowledge.
the Southern part of province , that they travel by, is under snow fall warnings again and we expect a bit more snow thi s week. it is bitterly cold, so they may decide to stay where they are. Goodness knows, I want out of here :egg6:
