I've gotten all the descendants of Freedom up to date and current to this nesting season.

So here are 'family trees' to show all the falcons descended from this great matriarch of falcons!

First family tree is Freedom and her 1st mate Bandit:

Orion, son of Freedom & Bandit:

Pinkie - Freedom's granddaughter:

Freedom's granddaughter Sadie:

Roosevelt is Freedom's 2nd mate. Roosevelt has been with Freedom since 1997, and for Roosevelt, I'm sure that it was 'love at first flight' when Roosevelt saw the beautiful Freedom!

Fury, son of Roosevelt & Freedom. He and his mate *7/X are the parents of my beloved Victory 2/*1:

Kil-So-Quah, daughter of Roosevelt & Freedom. She was named by the One Summit Square building manager (native American heritage).

Kil-So-Quah was the granddaughter of Little Turtle, War Chief of the Miami and her name means "Sun Woman". Her grave is in Huntington County, Indiana.

Judy Yerkey (who long reported on the Michigan falcons) calls her KSQ. Judy named Kil-So-Quah's unbanded mate "Sweetie".

Athena, daughter of Roosevelt and Freedom.

After the gas tower, where Athens and Thane nested from 2001 to 2003, was imploded in the fall of 2003, a nest box was placed at the nearby Daimler-Chrysler Plant.

Except for a possible sighting in late March 2004, no peregrine activity was detected, according to John Castrale and Rocky Beem.

The nest box at the Daimler-Chrysler Plant was removed in 2005.

On June 5th, 2006 various sites were checked but no sign of peregrines were observed.

76/E, grandson of Roosevelt & Freedom.

76/E's mate Majesty 2/*A is the daughter of Mary Ellen *B/*B (full sister of KathyQ of Indianapolis, IN) and River Ace 7/*A (full brother of Freedom of Ft. Wayne, IN).

Wizard, son of Roosevelt and Freedom and his first mate*6/3 (full sister of S/*W of the Terminal Tower in Cleveland, OH)

Wizard and his 2nd mate Clearpath. Their daughter Snowball is the mother of Orville of the Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus, OH.

Clearpath died of injuries she received in a territorial battle with Zenith 23W at the Terminal Tower in Cleveland, OH.

Clearpath's full brother Bandit 3/*P is still at Akron with his mate Chesapeake *P/*S.

Maddox, grandson of Roosevelt & Freedom.

Maddox's mate, Pfdotcom 5/*R, is the full sister of Sharin' E/G (first mate of Roosevelt's brother Leopold N/*4).

Nesting did not occur for Maddox & Pfdotcom in 2001. Pfdotcom was seen later in Detroit, MI by Judy Yerkey.

Snowball, granddaughter of Roosevelt & Freedom and 3rd mate of Mercury 21X of Dayton, OH. She is the mother of Orville of the Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus, OH:

The babies of Victory and Orville have Mercury 21X as their paternal grandfather and maternal great grandfather.

They are also paternal great great grandchicks of Roosevelt & Freedom (through Wizard) and maternal great grandchicks of Roosevelt & Freedom (through Fury).
