Here's a few more. The camera is moving around during feedings.

Now I'm glad they have the pen after looking at that VERY NARROW area!! And it is amazing how the parents continue to feed through the wires of the pen. I never would have believed that.

I did read the history. Thanks, Barb. You must be extra special happy for this clutch.

It looks like we can see the feedings outside the pen OR the eyasses inside the pen, but never both because of the camera zoom or inability to zoom back. It's OK for me. I'm just glad to see healthy birds.

Yes Bonnie, I am very grateful for a healthy clutch. Last year was really sad....
Thanks for coming to visit Richmond. I aspire to your great reports in a few weeks!

A big meal just came in. Not sure which girl in the first few pics, but the size difference between Arnold and her is incredible! He is getting his fair share of food for sure!

Well Nancy there's something really strange going on with this laptop
because every time I enter the address for the scrape, Vista (?) or
something changes the way I entered it. Here's a picture of what I
mean. Notice after the forward slashes and before the ccb, there's
an asterisk and a period. I don't put that in there so how and why
is it always changed? Is there something about the ccb site that
my security program finds threatening? I'm really puzzled because I
have watched the scrape many times on this laptop with no problems
before. I'll have to go now and upload the pic into PB first. I wish we
had some other way to insert pictures especially when you only want to
attach one or two.

This may have been caused by a recent change we at CCB made to our website. We have two web addresses http://www.ccb.wm.edu and http://www.ccb-wm.org. With the recent launch of our VAeagles website, we were forced to choose one address in order to use the Google Map application that maps eagle nests. Now all the http://www.ccb.wm.edu pages are automatically redirected to the http://www.ccb-wm.org. This may cause a delay when you pull up previously bookmarked pages on our site. It happened to me and I was only able to resolve it by rebookmarking the pages. I'd suggest using this link to view the falcon cam at the Richmond nest.
http://ccb-wm.org/vafalcons/falconcam/falconcam_richmond1.htm

Sorry for the confusion! I should have realized it would affect viewing the webcams.

this cage thing has one advantage. we get to see these beautiful guys close up and just how magnificant they are, especially whe they spread their wings. the closeups are great and you get to see how much they change every night. i wish harrisburg had this kind of color.
