I saw somebody land briefly. I seems like forever since I have seen them. Now if they will go in the box, I'll be happy

A funny and amazing story, with pictures, by Dorine today, on her own forum:
Short translation:
She and her husband saw and heard a Peregrine Falcon on a water tower in Helmond, the town where they live and some 6.5 kilometres west of De Mortel.
Dorine had seen a falcon there before. This time they went back with binoculars and camera and made a great discovery.
It was S2 !!! Does she have a secret hide-out there? Is she "shopping" in Helmond? Whatever, it's a remarkable sighting.

Funny S2, checking out the surounding area, but I guess that's not too far at all for a falcon. What would it take to get there, about a minute?

It would be funny if she thought that they had their very own falcon and it turned out to be S2.

Thanks for the pictures and the video. It was nice to see the two of them, right where they should be, bonding at the nest. Will we be getting streaming?

Thanks Dorine & ljames for the great pictures! These new cams sure show nice, sharp pictures! :rainbow :party2:

Funny story about Dorine's sighting, DEF! It was probably disappointing to her in a way, if she was thinking that maybe they had their own falcon that could nest in their town.

Nice video Coriena. I thought for a minute there, they were going to mate on the platform. They each gave that camera the once over, I see.

S2 waited for me to get up today, but I missed seeing her leave.

Thanks Coriena for the video. I love it when she finally goes in the box. The bow, the faceoff, the position change, etc.

I am watching S2 on the platform right now and can't tell what she's up to. The wind is blowing and she is twisting and turning looking about. I guess 'super pa' is flying around up there. :loveshow:
