Thanks for sharing the video and also showing us how the nest box is accessed, Kim. It brought tears to my eyes looking at CJ's mom. She was SO beautiful.

Greg - Thanks for letting us know what was on today's menu. CJ really is on overdrive these days and no wonder: The five chicks are growing so fast, and at times they're knocking over CJ and Red Girl in their quest for food.

Kim - That was some video of CJ's mom attacking the peephole. Was it your camera on the other side? Will you be there taking pictures at Wednesday's banding?

Great photo and video, Kim! I hope everything goes well at banding.

What great parents these chicks have.

I caught some nice flappercizing this morning. A parent was in the box briefly to check on them & was really dwarfed by 3 big girls. I believe the parent was Red judging by the white on her face.

Wow, what coverage since yesterday!! Thanks Kim for the magnificent pictures and Video. Wow is all I can say! CJ's Mom was beautiful. So painful to let go.

I pray all will be safe and not too much drama tomorrow. Wish I could be home for it, but we are extemely busy at work. This weather is the pits!

Wow, what great pictures have been posted here this morning. One of those chicks looks bigger than Red Girl. So 10:30 tomorrow is it, huh? Well, after waiting for a little over two months for a new car to come in, just guess what time I'm going to pick it up? Hope all goes well with the banding, all humans and falcons alike will be safe.

Kim - I'm glad to hear that you'll be there taking pictures for tomorrow's banding. I plan on parking myself in front of the cam before 10:30 so I can catch the action from there.

I caught a brunch being served a while ago . . .

Someone just said two of the chicks got over the ledge. Is that true? I'm guessing no one in here saw if it is since no one said anything. hmmmmm

Kim! What? Over the ledge? Seems they are all there now. I know they are looking OVER the ledge when I have been viewing them. Too soon!! Don't have enough flight feathers do they? Too much fluff. Our LO in HBG is working on ridding himself of the fluff. He hasn't tried flying yet! Thank goodness. Want to have someone on the ground.

Faith, did you see five? For a while there were only three but just recently the fourth came into view or back in the box.

Yesterday I watched one of them almost jump/flap enough to get up on the ledge so it wouldn't surprise me if they actually made it!

I see movement on the ledge, but adult I'm sure, as 4 are in the nest.

They certainly are curious. I wish I could see the 5th one. That movement on the ledge may be a feather, I'm thinking.

Oh no, did one of the chicks get out of the box and up onto the ledge already? I only see 4 in the box right now, but then I'm always amazed at how a big chick can disappear into one of the corners of the box. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the 5th chick is snoozing away in a corner right now.

I think these gals and guys are going to be a real handful at banding tomorrow!

Did you see the one jump on the one laying down and try to get up there? LOL
