Some pictures from this morning!
I love the way the two guys are watching the other one flapping, especially the one with his head turned sideways. :)

Red Girl is thanking CJ for the present he just brought her. He's such a good boy. :)

The kids are watching the feathers flying by from the above.

RG has had her share and is getting ready to take the rest to the kids.

She still has feathers stuck to her bill! LOL

Great photos, Kim! Love seeing the kids on the ledge (just so they don't get too brave for a while)! The pics of RG & CG are great, too! :loveshow:

I'm sure I can speak for all of us here that we're so glad you live close by, can visit frequently, and can take beautiful pictures!

Your pictures today of all the kids, Red Girl, and CJ are really wonderful! The kids sure look like they're enjoying their new perspective of the world from the nest ledge - I don't blame them one bit for staying out of the nest box most of the time. Like you, I love it when one of the kids turns its head so inquisitively.

P.S. I see dinner being prepared (or perhaps even being served) on the nest ledge now. Unfortunately, all that's visible is a pair of adult feet and some defeathered prey.

Great shots KIm.

this sure gives me an idea of where they are. On cam you just see the scrape . It is always nice to get the lay of the land.

Actually the ledges are very narrow and the kids have a really hard time landing on them. After a while they get the hang of it but they usually end up landing somewhere else!

Beautiful photos, Kim! They give such a different view of the nest and the chicks, and where the nest is located. Thank you!

My thanks too, Kim for all the wonderful pictures. I'm sure the chicks stay outside the box to cool off some. Loved the picture of Red Girl going after the TV. Her mom would be SO proud of her. I have all the rescue equipment from Harrisburg at home overnight to take back down there in the morning. It blows my mind that Red Girl was in that box once!

Kim, thanks for all those wonderful pictures from your very fine camera. They are fabulous subjects. Don't know where people get their info. Just like the two ladies that I talked to on the roof last week. Had to correct some mis-information.

Reenie, in reading your answer to my post about going to HBG next week. I miss wrote my answer to Kim and it sounded like Kim was coming to HBG too. That is not the case. Just me. She wrote that She was thinking of starting up the Falcon Watch here on June 2nd. I answered as saying I was going to HBG that day, but it read all wrong. So sorry about that. I must watch that I write more clearly.

Kim, your pics are just spectacular....I am so appreciative that you can give us this outside view of all the antics!!! Your aerial shots are gorgeous!!!

Well, I'm not sure who this is, but I'm guessing he was elected to jump into the box to give us viewers our photo-op moment. Gotta keep the masses happy...

Tis not too far from me here in Newtown Sq, but i am not sure i can handle downtown wilmington once there and then finding my way back to 95 north. I'd love to get down there with the 150-500mm for some shots of the falcon fivesome but i often get lost trying to find my way out of a cul de sac

when is the best time of day for falcon photos? Not sure how the lighting as at the site to decide when i should or shouldnt be there. Early AM or are afternoons better for decent photo ops?

If i can find parking id consider schlepping down there next sunday. From the shot showing the scrape and ledge, it looks like it was shot on a parking garage roof. Is that lot open sundays? Is that the best vantage point for camera users? Or is there another "secret location" for getting such great shots? I want to set up the manfrotto with the gimbal head but i dont want to have to lug the thing that far or be forced to make a quick exit if anyone challanges me. I want to do this shoot safely after all.

Crud, i didnt realize it was that close but its only a 24 mile road trip from here. (kicking self for not taking trip down there sooner)
