I am glad lil Dad did not get the waxwings either. WE have them here all the time. We have a pair that nest in our boulevard tree. the wee ones are so fun to watch.

Looks like LO is at the end of the ledge. Some BIG prey is down there, too. Leaving for watch SHORTLY.

LIL DAD CAME ON THE STICK FOR A WHILE AND THEN WENT DOWN AND STARTED DEFEATHERING THE PREY THAT WAS LAYING DOWN THERE. MISSED WHERE HE WENT WITH IT. JUST HEARD LIL DAD YELLING AND A THUMP AND LIL DAD LANDED BY THE SCRAPE AND I SAW A TAIL AT THE POINT. WONDERING IF LIL ONE JUST CAME BACK FROM SOMEWHERE? HE WASN'T DOWN THERE WHEN LIL DAD WAS DEFEATHERING OR HE WOULD HAVE BEEN SCREAMING.

WELL, I THINK THAT WAS NG WHO LANDED ON THE POINT WHEN LIL DAD CAME IN A BIT AGO BECAUSE I SAW HER LEAVE AND IT WASN'T A JUVIE LEAVE IT WAS A DIVE LIKE THE ADULTS DO. SO WHERE IS LIL ONE? CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR FROM JANE!

LIL ONE IS OVER ON THE ROOF OF THE UNIV BLDG ON THE 4TH ST SIDE, CAN'T SEE HIM ON THE CAM.

Thanks for All your pictures Reenie. He is a Sweetie. And so smart too! We have Cedar Waxwing's stop by in the trees at church every now and then . Have not seen one in our yard as yet. They travel in groups don't they? Glad Dad didn't catch one too. Where are the pigeons and starlings for NG and Lil Dad? LOL

LO is sitting on the far edge of the ledge right now. Lil Dad on stick.

So cute NG came in and Lil Dad went to scrape. Then LO flew over to them.
Shoot have to go. Funny noises right now. Someone must have flown off.

LIL ONE TOOK A FLIGHT DOWN 4TH ST EARLIER AND WAS OUT OF SITE FOR A BIT BUT THEN RETURNED TO THE LEDGE. NG (I THINK) WAS ON THE POINT AND HE RAN/FLAPPED DOWN AND CHASED HER OFF. HE WAS AT THE END AND THEN MOVED TO THE POINT, NOT SURE IF HE'S STILL THERE OR NOT, WASN'T WATCHING AFTER THAT. SUE AND JANE ARE DOWNTOWN.

I didn't see him land, but LO was just now on the point, flapped a bit, then took off toward the U. Bldg. Here he is flying in the distance (red circle)

Just saw somebody flying up 4th St. towards Chestnut St. Can't say for sure it was a falcon. Lil Dad is in the scrape now, so maybe it was him & he landed when the cam was pointed towards the other end of the ledge.

GREAT CATCH ON THE PICTURE! HE WENT TO THE CORNER ROOF OF STRAWBERRY SQUARE. APPARENTLY HE'S LOOKING FLIGHTY AGAIN, GOT THE RECORDER GOING, HOPING TO CATCH HIM COMING TO THE LEDGE. LIL DAD JUST FLEW IN AND WENT IN THE SCRAPE, HE WAS OVER WITH NG ON THE TOP OF 333 MARKET.

If that was a falcon I saw, it must have been LO, because it was flying from the direction of Strawberry Square!
