I didn't even catch him coming in. I think it is the same one. The white spot on his head gave it away to me..

Trying to magnify legs . Is there a Y on bottom. He was bowing. In one of my shots, I knew too skinny to be Durand but looked so much like her.

He will be ready next year and Durand can teach him. He is not as afraid as others.

I saw the flying too...I think one was a TV...can't say what the other two were...

Remember that they are at their biggest when they fledge and then continue to loose weight and form until 2nd to 3rd year. He had a bit more fluff the first visit and will loose more and more of it. that is why bands are important.
He does appear skinnier at this visit. that is assuming it is same male and I think it is.

Here's what I just took from your videos.

I think both have the purple band. We debated if the alpha character was a T or a Y and Bev thought she made out a Y this time.

I think the white above eye matches close.

If he had extended the neck in the right photo, I think we'd see a more pointed shoulder black patch.

His head markings will continue to change as he molts. He is 3 weeks older so will have slimmed down a bit. In falocn life 3 weeks i s a lot as we see when they grow to fledglings.

Where has he been. Maybe Durand told him to come back when he was serious. :sunsmile:

Our biologists always say it is good to mix young with older as you guarantee the site be used again. And they teach each other. Durand just had no support this year but I will not blame flyboy because obviously something was happening htat we could not see.

Thanks for the comparison pics...I got stuck on the phone....the sideburns look different to me in most of the pics I've looked at...
