I have just read through a few pages.
thanks for the updates on the boys.
Just a few things here I would like to comment on.
1.the girls were only gone for a few days and could have returned yesterday. Last year at our site, blueband girl go stuck in a fan. Our biologist took her home for the weekend and observed her and then Peter and I and he released her right across from nest site(she had been flying for a week) I am mentioning this becasue Red band male( her brother) recognized her right away and went over to play. parents s also recognized her and fed her.
2. I do respect all rehabbers but to say they were better off where they wre going than looking out at some parking lot and hotel

Our biologist said they are better off always being returned to their nest site .their best chance for survival is with their adults( I said this before)
3. Biologists tend to try and remain not too attached but then there aare biologists who can remain semi unattached and do what is always best for the bird and be great at what they do. And they also can respect the opinions of those who are helping them out by observing.
I have been watching cams for years and observed from the ground. Many a cam watcher has saved a nest site. Look a the ealges in California, the ealges in Sidney, the falcons at great River, etc.
because we do have human emotions, we have saved many a bird. I truly believe that one must always do what is best for the species. And this time I think they did a great disservice here.
I will pray that these two girls will survive the odds and turn up at site some day. And now I am tired and will sign off.
