I was thinking the same thing, SGB. In your Sunday picture, it looks like she's looking at Roosevelt's favorite perch, so maybe he was up there! :suncrazy:

It would be nice if the cam view was moved temporarily so we could see Roosevelt's perch. I'll have to think about how to get ahold of Allen. Nobody has even posted in Soarin' Hawk since April!

I just emailed Allen telling him our concern about Roosevelt & asking if the cam could be turned around temporarily to face Roosevelt's perch. If I hear anything, I'll let you know. Maybe he'll just have the cam turned around.

Thank you catwoman.

She looks a little thin here but she looks good in all your other images, so it must be a misleading pose.

That's her summer look, Mick. I've noticed that when its hot out, peregrines look very sleek & thin, & when its cold, they fluff out their feathers & look bigger. Unfortunately, that heat they're getting now will be hitting us in a few days, just when I was really enjoying the mild weather!

There is one on the corner of the roof right now. Usually that is Roosevelt's perch I believe . . .

Edited to add slide show:

Thanks for the SS DEF! Unfortunately, I believe that's our queen Freedom there now, but Juanita said that is Roosevelt's usual perch. At least you caught someone there!

I too believe that Freedom is the one in the pics, although that is Roosevelt's favorite perch. She is quite a tall falcon; Roosevelt is more compact. Her malar stripe is clearly visible in these pics, while Roosevelt has a solid dark hood.

I'm glad the cam has been moved; still hoping to see Roosevelt.

It's hard to think those thoughts. Thank you for the SS DEF and the images Alison. Hope we see Roosevelt soon.

Great SS and pics, Ladies...I'm guessing they've moved the cam in hopes of catching Roosevelt as we are...I just hope we see him...I don't think I want to think about the alternative...

They must have just switched the view back to Roosevelt's perch. I checked several times today & it was in its usual position pointed towards the nestbox.
