Just tuned into the cam. I see we have Matrix on the ledge, calling for Durand.

His voice can be a little squeak-y at times, but I think he's got a deeper voice for a male... I should clarify..when he calls for Durand.

Matrix arrived on ledge and was calling for Durand. He had a nice meal for her. After calling for about 10-15 seconds, he just took off.

This boy is wasting no time... nice to see him coming to ledge with gifts, calling for Durand, going to nest box.. Must be the good genes all of you were talking about!

Matrix just arrived on ledge, announcing his arrival. In nest box now.

Out of nest box, back to ledge, calling for Durand.

I'm back and forth between here and Richmond...so thanks for keeping an eye on the ledge...if you've never watched the "gate" open at Richmond...then check it out...I think we still have a way to go..

Wow - Great coverage of the Columbus nest, mwplay! I was so glad to hear that Matrix arrived with a treat for Durand this morning - it sure sounds like the courtship is making progress.

I think Matrix is exploring the top of the nest box, and behind it. you can barely make him out.

There's a little reflection in the window...oh.. he just jumped back up on top of the nest box. Now towards the front of it, still on top. He's standing tall, looking out.

Only been watching a few, but they have been on the ledge, in the box, on top of the nest, and behind the box in that alcove, oops and they just flew off, did not look like a DD.
