Think it was Unity on nest box as she started calling. She just flew off.

ETA Scratch... obviously it was him. Sorry...

In the box for almost 2 minutes. He's on the little ladder on the side still talking. Ok, just flew. She's still there.

Oh. I thought it meant "dot. Canada"...

Maybe we could just call him D?

Well - Congratulations. Nice to know where your babies are. Always wonder if one day one of the kids from out here will make his/her way back east...

I bet.

This reminds me of what we just had with EC/Clara/Fernando out here, except EC wasn't injured to anyone's knowledge. But, he is still very close to the nest.

I don't think he (EC) has been spotted in a little over a week, so maybe he moved on, or is just staying away at this point.

I hope the same here. Hopefully Archer can heal/recover and relocate, or be captured and rehabbed. Then, hopefully Unity and Dot.ca can go forward without incident from Beauty.

I'm nervous now, I dont' want to see either of them hurt. I am happy to see him, we knew he would do well. He left the nest first, hunted first and was just a super star.

That being said, Archer is our boy too...not at my site but one of ours none the less. There can be no victory dance here. I will only be relieved when I hear Archer is safe and rescued.

I also hope neither gets hurt. I'm happy for you Carly, but I know that just makes you doubly nervous! :egg14: :nailbite:

U flew, than about 30 seconds later, I think Dot.ca is on nest box. Yep, here comes Unity for some bonding...

He's still sitting on top, doing a little preening. She's still in the box, talking.

She's now peeking out, bowing & chupping. He's on top bowing, talking.

He just flew...fast

Unity out of box to rail

 I can't believe all that has transpired since I last checked here. What a bittersweet turn of events. We sure can't fault Dot.ca or Unity, but like carly said, there is still the major concern over Archer. Poor guy. Maybe Unity can take care of everyone now that she's got help with hunting.

In a perfect world (my mind)Archer would be captured rehabbed and set free in a nice quiet location with Beauty and life would be great again
