Great Video Carolyn.

I didn't remember her kaaking to end the standoff. That's what got him to fly off. On my computer, sometimes the timing is off on the cams, so I will see or hear something on 1 cam before it occurs on 2nd cam.

Bev, regarding this comment, do you mean you are nervous because you are not sure of the male's intentions? Or something else, related to the possibility of another female?

thanks for posting Donna's blog update, Carly. . that pretty well describes what we are seeing.

I've been very surprised at how long Durand has spent in the box today and while she really hasn't been on the eggs, she has been shielding them from the sun. . I really don't think they are going to hatch at this point ..

I don't think there will be a reclutch either . Some of you will remember how we stayed glued to the Wilmington cam in hopes that Red Girl would reclutch after the loss of her eggs 2 years ago. . and nope. .

I've learned to never say never at this point, so we'll see.

Now, my goal is to try and get band numbers so that we can at least see who this is.

I personally would like to import Pa from De Mortel .. wonder if DEF could arrange that. . :biggrin:

2:04~Durand returns to the ledge, echupping. . he must have been right behind her as there were several fly bys in the distance. she is still on the ledge, somewhere. .

I'm so out of it today. Between phone calls, running around trying to get stuff done in the house & now having to leave for errands. Sorry for the quick post earlier.

I am nervous because I am not so sure there is not another female around. sometimes they toy with each other for a bit, and hormone levels are starting to decrease.
