Suspected to be part of a nearby breeding pair. Given normal reproduction starting at age 2, she would have had potentially 7 breeding seasons. So there are likely many grandchildren of Stewart and Belle in the central Oregon Cascades!” This is so nice to know...

I do remember reading about Belle. . they have a great tribute to her on the WAMU site. .

I noticed something odd; every Friday evening/night the cam goes off-line. On purpose or is somebody flipping the wrong switch when leaving for the weekend ? ? ? :egg11:

This is a strange nest 5 eggs laid
3 hatched
now all there is are 2 big chicks and an egg I just watched a good feeding so I know there are just the 2 there and no one to ask about it
