there are 3 shell pieces in the scrape, I'm almost certain we have 2 hatches as the female was seen eating shell earlier and there are 3 pieces visible. Caught a tiny peek at fluffy baby under her wing but it is cold and damp today and I'm sure she will keep them covered as long as possible. Male made a visit to check to see if everything was ok.

they brought a seagull back for snacks today! Lots of gulls around but pretty big for a falcon to kill.

hard to know for sure since the cam has been freezing so much but it was said that there were 4 eggs, we know 2 hatched, during that bad storm someone saw a 3rd baby that didn't seem to move, could have been camera freeze. Later they thought they saw the parent remove this unresponsive chick. At any rate there are 2 healthy hungry chicks and one egg in the scrape now. Camera repairs will take place in the next couple of days hopefully.

3rd hatch was only 'due' yesterday ... 4th not until Friday. We'll see I guess.

camera is back working again, and we now have 3 lovely chicks, small one not getting much food but it all works out for the best eventually.

I was away on vacation for a week but I found out they did the banding and the oldest with the yellow feet is a male and the 2 younger ones are females.
