Beautiful shot kittenface. I checked in today and only saw the top of a head behind the box. One boy and two girls. :cheer

What a difference between the feather development of the juvie in the first pic & the ones in later pictures! Thanks, SGB!

Because the outward facing camera got splashed it no longer works so we could not watch them fledge. However one observer said she knows that at least one has fledged. I'm thinking the older boy. This morning I did see 2 in the scrape each with a breakfast snack. Too bad we can't have a decent spot to watch these falcons. The ground locations are all private property with electric fences all around so the only other choice would be to sit in a boat in a busy harbor channel and watch, probably not even allowed, or standing above on the bridge looking down. There is no way a juvie could be rescued by anyone so it would be sad to watch. We have some bad weather approaching, sideways rain and flooding so I hope they all stay in the scrape and out of danger until this bad weather passes in 4 days.

That is a shame about not being able to do a fledge watch here. It can make such a big difference in whether these young ones survive or not, but it doesn't sound like that's an option. :egg15:

The biologists seem to keep an eye on them and know when one has fledged and so far each year they have been successful. I think when they leave the scrape they go under the bridge out of the weather, lots of perching places there, places to practice short flights under cover. The parents keep a close watch on them for us.
