Thanks Coriena for the nice video. I seldom see them when she doesn't have them locked down under her. Sometimes it seems as though the bigger chick has it's head down alot, like it's too big or too heavy. Still it eats when it wants and appears to be healthy. I guess it's just my imagination, I always see something to worry about until I no longer see it.

Big Head Fred?? :egg6:

I wonder if that still have that side view and what it would look like. Hesitant to ask for a camera change, then might not like it as well and would have to ask again.

I thought the same thing but we need this view now since they are getting bigger

Boy, it seems to be really windy--glad these 2 are big enough that they should'nt get rolled around. Mom is right there with them, so I don't think she'll let them go far!

They are getting hail here right now, and is it ever coming down. The cam cannot keep steady. Mom is not happy about this storm, but she is getting the chicks under her, so all is well.

Just checked the cam and she is still alert and shielding her chicks from the storm. Such a warrior.

She might need to give them a little more space at this point.

Cute video, Kitten! :egg 19: When the kids really needed to be covered, she apparently didn't know how to cover them well, but apparently she's learned since then & is covering them much of the time now. Well, they snuggled up under her wing, so I guess they still want to be covered...

Another really nice video, KF, ending with a dramatic evening scene. Couldn't resist isolating this shot, though . . . :egg13:
