yes, this forth chick is tiny but fiesty. I think it has been very cool here and so becasue he was under 10 days, mom was keeping him warm. Today is still chilly but sun is out so they are able to air out.

A feeding this afternoon, which finished around 3:55 p.m. local time. All four chicks, including the super-cute littlest one, had their share.

I think the cam is stuck again!

cam was good till after 10 last night. then it shuts off.

I am now looking to see if we still have 2 adults.

Always checking. Have only seen female in last few days but then I am not always here.

I have been watching off-and-on throughout the morning, and I have only seen the female in the nestbox. I don't know the difference between her and the male, but she has a big roundish patch of white on the left side of her neck, and this is how I tell that it is her. Of course, the male could look the same, they all have white patches, but this patch seems extra white.

These chicks are hungry. Mom went out, then came back - no food. She is looking around alot, and the chicks have their mouths open, so where is dad?

I have been watching and getting no house work done

Trying to watch sexes and if small one gets fed. I usually see mom from rear and not front

Last feed little one maneuvered in front. He has to get there again

then lots of calling and out , so I am hoping it is dad she is scolding and not something else.
this was last night also

wish I could take a drive out there but a lot on plate right now.

Adult still gone. Now I am smart enough to know that they are probably in view but paranoid enugh , after all going on at other sites, to wonder.


Will watch as clsoe as I can but going out to clinical in a bit.

have to leave in a few minutes but adult still out.this is not usual for here. these guys are still young. Ikdest , no older than 10 days and youngest born on the 11th.

one adult is always there till last night.

I didn't see a feed, but I sure thought this was pretty cute with the little one under mom.

will be watching for feeds and adults today. a little concerned here

adult left , one came in, no food and adult left . not even sure of adults anymore . I missed pciutre for comparison.

If I do not see what needs to be seen here today, will try and notify Gord. that is why this is important, and I do not want to alarm him, if not necessary. becasue it is a drive out there. do not want to cry Wolf.

I am just so worried. third time adult in and out wiht no food, since I got up over an hour and half ago

Kids calling out

I have been worried since yesterday mid day, when any food was left overs and no night feed last night that i saw, before I left at 8pm. Just do nto wan to make wrong call, but do not want kids to starve either

this is not usual here. food has been abundant up till yesterday. Always good here
