I had Gord ready to pull the chick that had not been eating, but then the reports said it was eating. so I asked him not to. He was concerned about fronce but they do look O.K> and they will be banded so will be checked at that time unless we see something .

there was an intruder on Friday evening late. Jean texted me. she said ti was smaller than R and Chase was out hunting. R chased it and some fancy flying but no hits. R ended up on College plaza cacking and then all was well.
Jean texted me next morning to let me know Chase and R were both there.

I have a few pictures. first ones from last night and last 2 from this morning
Chase did a feeding. He is turning out to be superb, so far.
I wish the darlings at Genesse were fed as often

Some insignificant trivia - they dined on kestrel sometime this weekend (wings were below CP). Haven't seen this before.

The only thing I've noticed that is odd at this nest is that one seems to squint its eyes more than the others. Not sure if that is a problem or if it is just bothered by mites or maybe every time I've watched he has been sleepy? :hmmmm Maybe dusting will help him.

We had quite a lightening and rain storm there tonight.

when we left both adults were adjacent to nest box on Maz

I had fledge watch meeting tonight. We are few but will manage and do the best we can

Everytime I watch, the two younger ones seem to be squinting. Maybe it's because the other one is more developed and has a nice mask already.
