Baby is hungry this morning. I looked back through the archives and don't see that she's been fed yet this morning. It's almost 10AM. She's walking over to Beauty and snapping at her beak!

"Momma, Feed ME!!!"

Baby has returned to her corner until Mom or Dad bring something to her.


On a side note: All the pictures have been wonderful. B & DC are so cute with her.

9:56AM - Beauty is alarm kaaking.

Maybe something is bothering her. I just turned up the volume, so am unsure if this has been going on for awhile this morning, or if she's just seeing something right now.

Baby is over in her corner.

Is there any cooling in the forecast? I know it's been hot recently. I feel sorry for those of you with the 100+ degree weather for days on end.

ETA: her kaaking only went on intermittently for about a minute. She's quiet now.

I guess the rest of the world does not care about the peregrines and life goes on as per normal. Getting ready for July4 th I guess. I will never forget this time as that is when our dear Scout was lost.

I see that the color on Beauty's "racing-stripe band" is wearing away. That explains why I was confused in trying to id which parent was with baby at certain times, because I couldn't see a red racing-stripe, but the chest was beige & had lots of spots. :egg12:

Glad we've got a feisty little one here. Baby might make his/her parents give up the games they're playing with each other in order to put the needs of their precious little one first! :egg 19:
