I'm so happy to read that feedings are more regular and that baby's eye is getting better. I also think there is some swelling there, but hopefully nature will heal it in time. Thanks for all the reports and pics, everyone! I also enjoy reading everyone's opinions, so keep them coming.

OOOOOh, interesting thought, SGB. Maybe Dotca thinks both Pigott and Baby are his "children." :hmmmm

I mentioned that to Carly the other day because he is bringing food to Pigott-was seen doing it a few days ago by watchers.

Not Dotca or Beauty related, but MAK noted 2 falcons at KP (Unity's old site) today:

From Twitter: At KP-2 falcons seen. KPT flew from red door and met another on N side- both disappeared behind blue building

Will be interesting to see how this develops.

I would like this little one to fledge successfully before another site is started. Hopefully these other 2 are not a threat .

That's great news! The little Canadian tiercel may have found a mate!! I hope they DEC would put a nest box there for them - they're still endangered there so no reason they can't!

KPT hasn't been seen in over a week by watchers so this is good news plus this is the first time 2 have been seen at the site this year. I would think that the building owner would have the final say as to whether the DEC can place a box on their property and that could be an issue where Pigott is and at KP. Guess it's a wait and see.

Much better this time, and Baby is much more proficient.

Beauty just came back & she is PISSED.. YELLING at DC.

He went to the rail and flew off. Wow was she mad!!! He knows she was not messing around that time.

She took food and is feeding Baby.

Dotca seemed to be doing a good job this time. It helped that baby can see now & knew where the food was. :girlluv:

I hope we can see some new photos of Pigott soon, I'd like see if she's molting into her adult feathers now..I expect she is and will be interesting to see if she favors Madame X or Surge. I also hope she makes it to two years old...so many don't and I hope when she is ready to nest, she has better luck than her sister Durand.
