Beauty just returned to the box with food & is feeding. DC is nearby apparently watching.

That feather is finally gone from the side of baby's face so he looks much better!

Yep. Talk about red meat!

That crop's going to explode pretty soon! Saw a nice poop shot during DC's feeding! Wish that darn feather above its eye would come off. DC tried to pull it off last night but it wouldn't budge.

Actually, he tripped on the food piece in front of him when he was trying to get the food into baby!

I hope we can see some new photos of Pigott soon, I'd like see if she's molting into her adult feathers now..I expect she is and will be interesting to see if she favors Madame X or Surge. I also hope she makes it to two years old...so many don't and I hope when she is ready to nest, she has better luck than her sister Durand.

There's new pics of Pigott posted on the Forum-June 20th-under Blogs-Falcon watches.

Thanks Kris, just finished checking them out and all the new photos from MAK as well! I can't tell who she favors but she's looking more adult now than the older photos I first saw of her.

So that narrow window ledge is where their 'potential' nest would be? I can't imagine laying eggs and them not rolling off there? Or is there a deeper area where they can go?

We drove around the building at BS last week and didn't see any Falcons but the scrape appears to be nothing but a window ledge from what I could see. MAK told me more things to look for around the site so this weekend, when we go to Rochester, we'll check it out.

It was great to see baby fed so many times today. Could Beauty and DC finally have worked everything out?

Here are a couple of pictures towards the end of the latest feeding . . .

Thanks Anca - I was just about to post the same picture of baby with both eyes open!

Here are a couple more from the latest feeding before DC arrived and grabbed the prey remains . . .

Thanks for that shot showing both of baby's eyes. Still a little puffy looking to me, but so much better.

Funny pics of baby all stretched out. :egg11:

Does Baby have mites, or is the hair loss normal for this age?
