I guess he wasn't too far away, parent came to feed the one and the other one showed up, could have just been on a perch where you can't see.

If I remember correctly, the nest box sits at the top of a circular tower. . .and they get to where they leave the box and walk around on the grated 'catwalk" (or falcon walk. . ). . .so I went looking for pics:

and from last year

I'm glad you remembered those photos, SGB. Now I recall that it is much like the box that was at Alcoa in Australia.

This little guy is alone ever since a switched on my computer this morning. I saw one fooddrop. That was a good one.
But there seems to be no brother to join him. I haven't seen him anyway. :girlsad3:

Just now they pulled the cam a little bit backwards, but not enough to see what's happening next to the box.

Aaaaahh....thanks so much SGB!!! That feeding was seemingly too short for me to capture! :sum8: I'm glad it was a feeding after all.
This kid is so alone, for myself I call him Remi. I'm very worried about his sibbling-brother.
For me it is evening already but I hope to see that the second one will join his brother later today. :girlsad3:

Assorted pics from the past 4 hours

Mom arrives with a HUGE feed and left it with him for about 40 minutes.

Mom returns (I'm not sure how much he actually ate) but it took several refreshes for her to get into the box to retrieve the leftovers~which just happen to be most of the prey.

After mom leaves it was time for a little exercise, then a nap.

About 2 hrs later, mom returns for a proper feed

Our little guy is now snoozing in the box.

I have had the cam up almost all day and I haven't seen hide nor hair of our other little one. I am really starting to believe that he is no longer on the tower. Of the 3 feeds I've seen today, he was a no show all 3 times. The little "box guy" has spent a lot of time looking down, at what I have no clue!! Maybe the wantderer will make it back for bed time.
