Thanks so much for the great coverage, SGB, and for the amazing pictures. That prey looks like a black-headed gull to me. :sum11: No wonder mom had to take away the bigger part. Wow. Amazing...
I'm still hoping to see his brother though. If he doesn't show up I hope he is taken good care of by his parents. :girlyes:

Well, I've had the cam up. . Brother did not return last night nor was he there this morning. He must have fledged. . even if it was to a lower part of the tower. .I do hope he is ok and the folks at Genesee will keep an eye out for him. I know that Peter and Bev. can't get into that area, so I guess we just have to hope for the best.

OH. . and for some reason, the cam is zoomed back in. Can't see any of the sides right now. .

And, my last two pics. . .at 2:17 EDT. . and I haven't seen him since. . so, either he has fledged or has figured out how to "walk the tower" .. guess time will tell!!

The kids may be running around the tower. It is supposed to rain this weekend but we will try and make it out there and look around. I e-mailed George but he is not getting back to me like he usually does.

it was pouring rain today but Peter and I went out for a bit this afternoon. So glad we did. The rain stopped and I saw one falcon flying around tower opposite. then we were sure we saw falcons flying out south.

We waited and were rewarded. The 2 kids came closer and were calling and playing tag. The did some precision flying, they did a few dives and one landed on a roof. Sweet music to my ears. The other juvenile soared higher and started to tag an adult. We had one adult sitting on a tower , a juvenile on a roof and 2 in the air. Where one door closes another opens. I was jsut thrilled to see this. It gave me hope for my little Feist as he was a week older than these two.

I am babysitting right now but Peer will download camera and I will post my dots , but you can see they are falocns and you can see there are 4. :sum9: :sum9: :sum9: We had the scope so we could see more clearly. too bad I cannot attach my scope to my camera.

So they are flying! :sum10: Great to hear they are doing so well. It's so nice to have ground reports.

here are the mini shots at Geneesse. We are so far away but can really see well with naked eye and binoculars.
I just always like to provide proof of what we see.

I tried to get shots of them playing tag and precision flying but my camera kept locking . Peter said because it kept focusing on trees .

Peter felt it was the kids trying to swoop after pigeons

juvie landed here after ti had enough of tag

This was an adult. I scoped it and could see clearly. A kid tried to land there earlier
