A good falconer will put her at ease.
and I am sure they have her with the best .she just is not used to not being free. I would rather them take as long as they need than her leave anything less than healthy.

she is going to need to be in top form.

A short, but good, update on S2:

Thursday, August 30, 2012 8:14 p.m.

Visit to the veterinarian for X-rays

Gemert, Wednesday, August 28, 2012

On Wednesday, the peregrine S2 visited the veterinarian Caroline Hommers for an X-ray of her wing.
This shows that the bone is properly fused; according to the vet, the bone is now probably stronger than ever.

That was an awesome display. Playing with the wind. :spingirl:

Thanks for the translated reports on S2. I can't wait for her to be free again.

Great pics, Alison. ..

I'll be honest, I'm very nervous about S2's release in a few months. .. this current female looks big, young, and strong!!!

I agree with you SGB! I'm starting to wonder if she'll even think of the tower when she's released, it's been so long....

I feel the same SGB and she will think o f the tower. Milton , in Ontario , was gone in rehab for a long time and he headed straight back there. Lucky, he took the hint , and is now nesting successfully elsewhere.

My prayers are certainly in top frame.

I would love it if the live cam could be turned when S2 is released.

This is the only news I have. Here we see S2 being fitted with 'strings' (or whatever thay are called ) for flight training by a falconer. The rings had to be removed to make room for those 'strings'

Is the cam not live now ?

I can't remember who it was (I think DEF) saying that there are going to be all kinds of spotters there when she flyies free again,
I believe but don't quote me I think DEF is going to be there watching also
Def if I'm wrong please forgive me & my bad memory
