You are right though SGB, could be the windy weather over the past few weeks has exposed an older body too. Likely they won't know until tomorrow from the sounds of it as they need building permission to go up there I would think....so on pins and needles until then.

Ya know...that's a great map...I've been meaning to copy it so that we could use it for reference...it gets so confusing with all these abbreviations..

Sad to open up the board this morning and see this news. Hoping it is not P or DC. I'm sorry to see loss of any peregrine.

I just talked to MAK- she said that the DEC is being notified about the dead Peregrine on Crossroads and that they might be there to get it tomorrow. She's also been at BS since 10 this morning with no sign of Pigott- BST is there on the building looking around. MAK said she looks at all DT rooftops on her watches each day and never saw this before so she believes it's a recent death. :sorrow:

All I know is that the head of the GVAS was notified on Sunday by MAK about the bird being on the roof. This tweet was posted yesterday by MAK:

MAKfalcon (MAK): Landery knows about the bird on the Crossroads Bldg, but is in Albany today. Haven't heard from her today. We must be patient.
Jenny is a DEC biologist. When MAK discovered the bird was gone this AM, June Summers was contacted. We've heard nothing else. MAK did check the area on the ground but found nothing. :girlsad3:

I asked MAK if maybe the DEC had gotten it already but she didn't know. From what I picked up from chat, the bird was high above the actual rooftop so access would be difficult but it seems like there should be a way for someone to get up there.
