Thanks for the captures, Beth! They're obviously getting in the mood to have a family! :hapdance:

Also, thanks mwplay for posting your observations. Glad to hear from someone who knows what's going on with this nest! :snowflake2:

I think this might be Lil...

It's 12:17am local time. I think when I tuned in, she was cleaning her feet. Her crop looks full & she is looking out over the city and doing a little preening.

Lights are gold for the SF 49ers. During the world series, lights were orange.

Thanks for posting SGB. I'm glad that somebody has taken an interest in the bird and giving it every chance. I just wish that chick # 4 and Blue had been given a chance so they wouldn't have starved to death in San Jose.

I agree! (Although I don't think rescuing Blue would have made a difference, as we saw with Blue in Harrisburg who had trich.) But when I think of the little one who was starved to death, I saw how different things ended up at the James River nest because Shawn rescued the baby & he ended up being very healthy & not at all bashful! :girlluv:

More action. I thought the one on the lower level was holding prey, then he(?) flew to the ledge and I saw for sure.

Well he left with it, probably to prepare for her and sure enough, he returns to the ledge and she comes in to get it.

Yes, he is a sweetheart and I hope that he can live. Thanks SGB.

I watched the falcons here earlier and at first I thought the male was bringing the prey in, but the one with the prey did not give it to the other so it must have been Lil with it. Anyway, they ended up eating it across the way on that bldg point.

Is that a mat they have the nestbox on? it must be to collect the gravel from their feet so they don't track it all over, like I have for my litterboxes! :teehee:

Is there an egg yet? I can't access this cam, but on another forum, there was a pic of the female looking like she had a puffy abdomen.....

He really is a beautiful bird. Looking at the video... so handsome.

Glenn made a follow-up post that people were having a hard time getting the video link. His post instructed to search YouTube for "SFO peregrine falcon". You'll find the video SGB posted above and also additonal videos from the 2012 season of the peregrines that nest at SFO airport (male is presumably "SFO" who is with Glenn now).
