when egg is laid she will have to sit over it for a bit to let it dry, so we may not see right away unless it just plunks out.

You can see egg one by her far foot

You have to focus on the location of where the current eggs is now, so that if you see a pinkish spot anywhere else, it's a new egg.

Unless it just plunks out.

Well, the good news is she's still in the scrape...the bad news is that she's preening and stretching....LOL

But she looks well in those last images...

Interesting cam operations... :teehee:

I so agree with you. This morning she looked like she was going to lay egg 2 and then she flew somewhere. I believe egg two is somewhere else.

Glenn S posted this info on the SF Yahoo in response to a request for an egg update:

"There is no update at this time. The egg is overdue. Lil has been in and out of the nest scrape and if you find the camera pointed at the ledge it is likely because it followed her out of the scrape. Sometimes peregrines skip an egg. I am quizzing colleagues about this now, and let's face it--its Sunday afternoon. From what I have learned so far, we do not recall a peregrine getting into serious trouble as the result of an egg not being laid when we expect it to. (The other thing to remember is that we quit breeding peregrines in a big way about twenty years ago so memories are not fresh) More when I know it. --glenn@scpbrg"

thanks mwplay....

well, as the cam grew dark, she was in the scrape, preening....Who knows..maybe we'll wake up to an egg...her behavior today reminded me so much of Scout that year she laid one day, then skipped 7.

Mary on SF Yahoo group:

"Yes, that's Lil. We have been following her (Cheryl and Ann on the ground, me on camera) as she went from box to ledge, to 201, to flying around the Embarcadero, back to the ledge, back to the box where she is currently."

So they are watching Dan & Lil and I'm sure if there was intruder issues, they probably would have reported them as being the cause for Lil's back & forth activity today.

Was this with Trooper? I may not have been watching Scout at that time.

well, darn

I am not in the lest worried because I have seen this with Radisson and Miss Edmonton. Even after the last egg had been laid for -days they were still going into the stance.

they will do it on their time.

I also remember with Scout, that year that we did not think all eggs would hatch and they did.

Glad someone is watching from the ground.

At Toronto King , 2 wre laid and then I believe 9 days( it was unusual) later came 4, They were so some when the little one hatched but all went well. It fledged much , much later, but success.

these guys know what they are doing, it is just us waiting in the sidelines knowing that we are not privy :girlcrazy: :girlcrazy:

This was with Orville in 2008...The shocker was that it actually hatched!!! That first egg was so neglected during that time period...even Donna Daniels didn't think it would hatch...just shows you how tough these eggs are sometimes!!!
