Very interesting, mwplay. It is unfortunate that the SJ cam is so far away from the nestbox, but then again, its also nice to be able to see what's going on around the box--six of one, half dozen of the other!

It occurred after the cam went dark...I had pics of her turning the eggs right before I couldn't see her any more...and then she was back down...of course, it gets dark in that corner before the rest of the area...so, it could have been laid before midnight...

I'm still using 2/23 as the lay date...maybe SF blog will have a more accurate time...

Well if there are now 4 eggs, then maybe there was no dropped egg afterall. Well, there is always plenty of food here usually, so no problem, but no more Lil. :snowflake3:
