I missed all of that. Every time I looked, I didn't see anything. Trying to get dogs fed, dinner started & lunch packed.

Here's a post from SF Yahoo forum at 5:40PM from Ann G:

Agreed. We are still trying to assess who is who. What we do know, is that there are more than two PEFAS in the airspace around the scrape. We think we have seen a large peregrine, and two med/small peregrines in the scrape. The two smaller birds = Mohawk and Nohawk. Larger bird = Lunker.

When that mohawk comes off, it will get even more difficult.

Keep an eye on the camera! We need as many eyes as we can get...

This nest does have flies & when panned, you can see them... Becomes a big pain when trying to watch what's going on past the ledge & these big black flies are darting around.

Obviously with the confirmation that there are 3 falcons in area, I have no doubt you saw a chase/interaction.

This whole thing makes me really anxious, especially since we can't see around/outside the ledge....

If you are watching, you will see they are panning down the ledge - long runway

Forget it, they just panned back.,

I am so confused after reading reports but I know I saw falocns flying(and some flies) but could tell the birds because of wings. and they were darting and diving. I have seen it before so I knew they were not fliesLOL( like when watching columbus and Harrisburg cam)

I still think we ahave 2 here . Maybe jsut one today but one picture Anca posted did showa different (no Mohawk) today. So
We will have to wait and see. I will watch when i can tomorrow.
7Pm and falocn still on nest box. Being of eggs will not harm them.

OK...I'm going over my recording now...its hard to know if what you saw were birds or flies..I'm picking up a lot of those that often appear to be birds...

Still looking at things...

some wre flies SGB. I know that . but then all of sudden there wre the bird wings and definite flying. Same as we saw at columbus and Harrisburg.
I called peter down and we would see flies and then bam two birds. I wish i could have recorded because I could slow down an d pinpoint just where

From the reports we are getting, I do not think they really know what is happening. We will jsut have to watch and see.(except they saw 3 falocns and at times as many as 5)

And falcons really do have quite the same look. It is jsut when they are banded , we really know

that is why I really had to watch. Because I had seen the flies by box and so I jsut thoguht flies and then you could see the wings of birds darting. You had to really watch.

Thank goodness for you guys.

If you did see some interaction, I'm tempted to contact one of the mods of the Yahoo forum off list, but don't want anyone to get yelled at for taking a video. They have an issue with pics taken of the cam... Why - I don't know, but they do. Bev knows that first hand from the sister nest list.

If that is the time, those are flies. They are falcon-like super fliers. I remember the first year I saw those and panicked that there was an attack off the ledge...

My first guess is that they are flies...now, some in the far distance could be falcons...I just need to know if this is the right time frame..

mwplay, I certainly understand recording issues...it happens a lot with some of these cams..I don't quite understand it either...
