ANOTHER feeding... 8:52...

OMG that is some huge prey. I wonder if it was a hawk or a crow/raven. I think they have ravens down that that bother Clara.

False alarm, no food.

This baby still tries to peck at Clara's beak just in case.

& they do have something in their crops, so they're not starving. Guess they learn at a young age not to pass up a meal cause it might be a while before they can eat again. :girlsad3:

FC hanging out with the chicks.

Clara comes in to feed and he leaves.

She then starts alarm calling and looking about anxiously and leaves with the prey.
3 stunned chicks

After a few minutes, she returns and is feeding again now.

Forgot to mention, saw a feeding around 10 this morning SJ time too.

Chicks are being fed again, looks like same white prey as before, although it looks like everybody might have had some of it, much smaller.

I saw a feeding about 6:30 or 7 & got some captures, but I got that error message "the dimensions of your pictures cannot be determined" so I wasn't able to post them. :furious:
