I don't know. I suppose someone could contact Carol Riewe, the rehabber who was quoted in the article. She is listed in the Indiana DNR Division of Fish and Wildlife Licensed Wild Animal Rehabilitators - as of April 15, 2013.

I called her two years ago when we first discovered Zephyr with his missing foot, and she seemed somewhat annoyed. This could have been due to her concern about Zephyr.

I will ask Carol when I run into her on ground patrol, but this may not happen for a while. Mom is on the eggs right now.

I've been waiting and watching to get a glimpse of those 4 eggs and I finally did!

Hi everyone! What is Guinevere's expected hatch date? Chicks are popping out all over!

My best guess is sometime mid May marineof2. 1st egg laid April 11 and last April April 18. This is not a scientific "guess", just what I am supposing.

I am having lousy luck with cams today- they all want to freeze for me!! But that "magic square" is back on Guinevere's screen... calling Brent Cummins... calling Brent Cummings..

I saw that earlier today too so I imagine he will get to this tomorrow when he can install the update or whatever he needs to do. At least it is not covering anything important!

Oh my - Guenivere is a busy girl just now. We got up from the eggs, and they just don't look right. Lets make a head count.. 1,2,3, 4, yes all present and accounted for. Lets turn this one, and that one, egg#3 lets nudge you over here, and #4this way, please. There, that's better... Oh dear! The pebbles are out of order. Nudge, nudge, push, push, - lets push several over this way with my feet. That's better!! Now I need to send a letter to my friend Durand in Columbus about proper feeding techniques!

Hmm, Tsusan's report makes me wonder if Zeus' behavior has influenced Guinevere. Sure sounds like him ! He was on the nest most of the morning, and on the Tower building last night, his little head towards the nest box with all his wonderful EGGS !

Ground report: Monday a parent on the County City Bldg evening time, later our guy in his "window suite" at the Tower Building at night, sleeping. Tuesday, 7:15 pm or so, the regal Guinevere sits on her corner of the County City Building, enjoying the early evening sunlight, looking well-fed. I watch for just a bit longer and am rewarded with a full leg and foot stretch and a quick preen. She looks every bit the queen as she enjoys her (relatively) relaxing pre-eyas days.

Cam seems to be down?

Cam is up now...looks like it might be Zeus on the eggs right now, looks small to be G.

I have noticed that they seem to take turns on the nest. I assume that they are each hunting for themselves because the nest is nice and clean, meaning that noone is eating in there. We'll see how clean it stays after hatch time.

G is on there now. Z is usually on there in the early evening, giving G a turn to hunt, fly and, if she wishes, to pose on the building and enjoy the night air before her overnight shift. Last night he was in another window of the Tower Building, resting his little body in preparation for another day of **EGG TIME**!!

I was able to spot him even before I raised my binocs, and it warmed my heart to see him up there.
